What the free version really includes
Everything. You point Alpha at your music, it reads tempo, key and energy, you pick an energy arc, and it writes a proper Engine OS drive you can take to a gig. The only limit is the number of tracks.
That's deliberate: a DJ tool is impossible to judge from a feature list. You should be able to plug the stick into your own player before deciding anything.
How many devices does one licence cover?
One device. If you replace that machine or want to move to another one, you can transfer the licence yourself in your account — it is tied to you, not welded to one computer.
Are updates really included?
Yes. New hardware support, new features, fixes — you paid once, you get them.
What “lifetime” actually means here
Part of Alpha runs on our servers — arranging your set harmonically is done there. That raises a fair question: what happens to a lifetime licence if we ever switch those servers off?
The answer is written into our terms, not just promised here. Before that service is ever shut down, everyone holding a lifetime licence gets a full desktop version that does the arranging on their own machine and needs no connection to us at all. The licence outlives the service.
Why one payment instead of a subscription?
Alpha does one job: it turns your folder of tracks into a drive your Denon hardware can play. That job doesn't get more expensive for us every month, so charging you every month would be hard to justify.
Is VAT included?
Yes. €30 is the final price — no tax is added at checkout.
