A gig-ready USB for your Denon SC6000M Prime
Motorized platters, dual layers, a 10.1-inch screen — the SC6000M is the full-fat Prime player. Alpha handles the part that happens before the booth: analysis, harmonic sequencing and a clean Engine library written straight to your stick.

What Alpha writes for the SC6000M Prime
Alpha writes a standard Engine OS 3.x library straight onto the stick: the audio files, the interpreted metadata — BPM, musical key in Camelot notation, energy and loudness — and the playlist in exactly the order you built it. That is the format the whole Engine DJ family reads, so the drive plays the moment you plug it in. No Engine DJ desktop session, no re-analysis on the unit.
Before Alpha touches a stick that already has a library, it copies that library to your computer as a backup. Writing adds to what is on the drive — it never erases it — and a track that is already there is linked into the new playlist instead of being copied a second time. After writing, Alpha validates the result and lets you eject safely.
The SC6000M reads the same Engine OS 3.x library as every Prime player, and that's what Alpha writes: your audio, interpreted BPM and Camelot key, and the playlist in set order. Beatgrids arrive ready, which is exactly what you want under a motorized platter.

Good to know on the SC6000M Prime
- A tight beatgrid matters under a motorized platter — Alpha's grid is read as-is by the player, with no re-analysis pass.
- USB stick or SD card both work; the internal drive bay stays device-managed and untouched by Alpha.
- Linked players can browse one prepared stick — a pair of SC6000Ms needs only one drive.
Common questions about the SC6000M Prime
Is preparing a stick for the SC6000M different from the SC6000?
No — both read the same Engine OS 3.x library. The M adds the motorized platter; the drive preparation is identical.
Can Alpha convert my rekordbox library for the SC6000M?
Yes — hand it your rekordbox XML and it keeps the BPM, key and beatgrid while writing a native Engine library to the stick. No slow on-device rekordbox import needed.
What happens to the library already on my stick?
It's backed up to your computer before every write, and the new set is added alongside it. Tracks already on the drive are linked, not copied twice.
Try it with your own SC6000M Prime
Every feature is in the free download — analysis, harmonic sequencing, loudness matching and the Engine DJ write. It stops after 10 tracks, which is enough for one real set on your own stick. After that it's €30 including VAT, once. No subscription.
